Among the shops lining the courtyard of the Keep stands a lively store with a hand-painted wooden sign depicting a bright peach resting atop a pile of travel packs. Beneath it hangs a smaller placard reading:
“If you need it for the road, we probably have it.”
Inside The Acquired Peach, the shelves are crowded with practical equipment: coils of rope, oil flasks, lanterns, bedrolls, climbing gear, and bundles of travel rations. Crates are stacked in neat rows along the walls while racks display packs and belts ready to be filled for long journeys into the wilderness.
Adventurers quickly learn that this is the place to visit before leaving the safety of the Keep. Whether preparing for a short patrol or a dangerous expedition into forgotten ruins, The Acquired Peach carries the practical tools needed to survive beyond the walls.
Proprietor: Ruckus
The shop is owned and operated by Ruckus, a halfling provisioner whose personality fills the entire room.
Ruckus compensates for their small stature with an astonishingly loud, booming voice that can be heard from halfway across the courtyard when the door is open.
Despite their energetic demeanor, Ruckus runs an efficient business. They have an impressive memory for inventory and can often locate exactly what a customer needs without even glancing at the shelves.
Adventuring Supplies
The Acquired Peach specializes in standard adventuring gear as described in the Pathfinder 2e equipment lists.
For travelers who prefer convenience, Ruckus assembles ready-to-go adventuring kits designed for common expedition types.
| Kit | Cost |
|---|---|
| Adventurer’s Pack | 15 gp |
| Climber’s Kit | 5 sp |
| Artisan’s Tools | 4 gp |
| Disguise’s Kit | 2 gp |
| Fishing Tackle | 8 sp |
| Healer’s Tools | 5 gp |
| Repair Kit | 2 gp |
| Snare Kit | 5 gp |
Ruckus insists these bundles are perfect for adventurers who “don’t want to realize they forgot something once the cave mouth is already behind them.”
